Auckland Noua Zeelanda, desi nu este orasul capitala tarii , este cel mai important si de asemenea cel mai mare port al acesteia. Dupa cum ati putut vedea in pozele din postul anterior orasul este foarte curat si da impresia ca totul este nou , totul pare ca luceste, probabil si datorita faptului ca majoritatea cladirilor au fost construite sau renovate in ultimii 20 de ani. Tara este o fosta colonie britanica ,deci limba oficiala este engleza , o engleza cu un dialect chiar foarte placut si inteligibil , deci un mare plus pentru oras. Lumea este foarte de treaba si intotdeauna are timp sa-ti raspunda intrebarilor ; populatia este compusa din britanici , nativi si un procent bun de imigranti asiatici .
Cel mai proeminent reper al orasului este turnul Skytower , cel mai inalt turn din emisfera sudica a Pamantului ; turnul se inalta 328 de metri si are in varf pe langa numeroasele instalatii de comunicatie o platforma de observatie ce ofera o vedere de 360 de grade si o podea de sticla , un restaurant si o platforma speciala de bungee jumping pentru doritorii de senzatii tari. Pretul ca sa urci in turn este de 20 de dolari neo-zeelandezi (cam 17 USD) si ca sa sari la bungee jumping inca vreo 50.
Orasul este destul de scump , preturile amintind de vestul Europei , o bere la bar costa intre 7 si 10 dolari , un pachet de tigari 8-9, si cam tot atata pentru un suvenir mic (magnet de frigider).
Dar in concluzie orasul este printre cele mai frumoase si civilizate locuri din lume ,cel putin din cate am vazut pana acum , un loc ce nu trebuie ratat daca vi se ofera ocazia vreodata. Am mai pus si cateva poze cu turnul si vederea de sus , plus targul de duminica dimineata din Auckland , enjoy! PS: nava cu containere care se vede in una din poze este nava pe care am fost 🙂

Auckland , altough not the capital of the country , it is it’s most important city and port. As you can see in the pictures from previous post the city is very clean and gives the impression that is brand new , everything seems to shine. The country was a former british colony so the official language is english , a big plus. The people are very friendly and always available to help you when you ask them for something.
The most noticeable landmark of the city is the Sky Tower , the tallest free standing structure in the southern emisphere , it rises 328 meters and it has on top an observation platform with a restaurant and a skydiving platform. The price to go up is about 20 new zeeland dollars (about 17 USD) , add 50 more if you want to jump from up there with the bungee.
On the other hand it is a pretty expensive city , the prices remind one of western europe , you will have tu put out between 7 to 10 dollars for a beer , and about the same for a small souvenir. Over all it is a great city , and of the most civilised cities on earth , great place to visit if you ever the chance.
