San Juan – Puerto Rico review

Bienvenidos a San Juan , orasul capitala cel mai mare de pe insula Puerto Rico. Intemeiat de spanioli in secolul 16 orasul si-a pastrat foarte bine centrul istoric , impreuna cu zidurile si forturile de protectie aferente , fiind un magnet pentru turisti , in special pentru stapanii insulei SUA. Desi este oarecum o natie independenta , modul de viata american este vizibil pe insula , autostrazi cu multe benzi , hoteluri turn in partea noua a orasului , multe malluri , multe masini SUV mari care stau blocate in trafic pe

strazile inghesuite din centrul istoric (foarte , foarte urata privelistea) si bineinteles multa lume obeza. Daca ma gandesc mai bine , singurul lucru urat de pe insula era numarul imens de masini raportat la suprafata insulei , care strica tot farmecul centrului istoric , plus pretul nesimtit la taxiuri , adica am dat de langa port pana prin centru vreo 20 de dolari doar dus , hotiiiiii!!! … da in fine , oricum insula merita vizitata , in comparatie cu alte natii din caraibe unde bantuie saracia si nesiguranta aici e bine si frumos. Bienvenidos a San Juan, the capital city the largest on the island of Puerto Rico. Founded by Spaniards in the 16th century the city has a very well preserved historical center, along with related protective walls and forts, is a magnet for tourists, especially for the U.S. island owners. Although it is a somewhat independent nation, the American lifestyle is visible on the island, with many highway lanes, the new hotel towers in the city, many malls, many large SUV vehicles that are stuck in traffic on crowded streets in the historic center (very, very ugly sight) and of course many people are obese. If I think about of it, the only bad thing on the island was huge number of cars reported to the island surface, which breaks all the charm of the historic center, plus the price of taxis jerks, one trip from the center to the port about $ 20 one way , THIEVES! … yes finally, the island is worth visiting anyway, in comparison with other Caribbean nations where poverty and insecurity haunt , here is so good and beautiful.
