L.A. revisited

Desi nu am avut prea multe ocazii de a iesi in oras in ultimul voiaj , am avut totusi placerea de a petrece o zi si o noapte in Los Angeles. Fata de ultima vizita pe acolo din 2010 , orasul pare sa fi decazut oarecum , am vazut pentru prima oara in metrou vanzatori ambulanti de apa , dulciuri , chiar si filme piratate pe DVD , deasemenea o gramada de oameni fara casa stationati cu cortul exact in Pershing Square din centrul orasului , dar in schimb partea turistica dinspre Hollywood era plina ochi cu turisti din toate colturile lumii , iar contrastul dintre ghetourile din Sud si luxul din Nord- West ramane la fel de mare. Daca seara am savurat viata de noapte variata si vie din Long Beach , pe timpul zilei am apucat sa particip la un tur organizat care ne-a plimbat pe dealurile din Hollywood , Beverly Hills si zona din jurul bulevardului Sunset.

Although I did not had too many opportunities to go out last trip, I was still pleased to spend a day and a night in Los Angeles. Auckland – New Zealand quick stop

Hello everybody , this is my first post : first stop Auckland – New Zealand. I just got back home after 6 months on the sea spent on a container ship as part of the crew and I want to share some pictures of all the great places I saw during my voyage.

I joined my ship in L.A. California , you can see a few pics taken when landing on LAX airport after a very very long 18 hours flight from Bucharest. 18 days later after crossing the Pacific Ocean we arrive in New Zealand, straight in to downtown Auckland.

The city is quite nice , the downtown core is home to numerous high rises and also home to the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere : Sky Tower , which I can say I had the pleasure of visiting , the view from the top is simply amazing.

This former British colony is truly one of the most civilized places I have ever visited around the world , is clean , safe , people are friendly , the only downside is the limited economic possibilities and the distance from any other country. I Hope you Enjoy my gallery below.
